If you are keen to develop your skills in teaching Young Learners (YLs), the IH Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers (IHCYLT) is designed to support your next step.

This highly practical course is suitable for teachers with or without previous experience in teaching young learners. It includes three hours of assessed teaching practice, giving you valuable experience teaching both primary and secondary-age students.

Throughout the course, you will be introduced to key principles of teaching young learners through a range of methodology input sessions. These cover areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, use of L1 in the classroom, and materials design.
