Until now, it was possible to do CELTA methodology face to face or online, but the Teaching Practice could only be face to face. On the 100% Online CELTA, the whole course is done online via face-to-face videoconferencing – input, lesson preparation, teaching practice, lesson feedback, and tutorials. There will be online Zoom orientation giving you training and first-hand experience in using the videoconferencing tools you will need at the beginning of the course
The part-time morning course offers a more extensive way of completing the CELTA qualification. The programme will include methodology and teaching practice two mornings per week and will last for approximately four months. This course is ideal for candidates who may be working or studying at the same time, although it still involves 8 to 12 contact hours per week.
You will join our online classroom to participate face to face in dynamic and practical input sessions. These will be led by our highly-qualified team of tutors. You will be expected to participate in plenary and in pairs and groups, just like in a real classroom. The sessions will also showcase tools, activities and ideas you can use in your own classes.
100% online methodology and teaching practice by face-to-face video conferencing. Exactly the same content and recognition as the other CELTA options, the difference is that you can complete the course from the comfort and safety of your own home.
You only need a computer and a decent internet connection. You cannot participate in the course on your mobile phone.
