This programme combines high-quality Spanish lessons with authentic Flamenco dance classes taught by professional instructors in a dedicated dance studio. While improving your Spanish every morning, you’ll also discover the rhythm, passion and traditions of Andalusian culture through weekly Flamenco sessions.
Whether you’ve never danced before or already have some experience, this programme offers a unique way to experience Seville beyond the classroom and connect with Spanish culture in an active and memorable way.

About the Spanish Course
Do I need previous Flamenco experience?
No. The classes are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to students with previous dance experience.
Do I need to bring any special equipment?
No special equipment is required. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely during the lessons.
Flamenco shoes are recommended for the best experience and can be purchased in specialist shops near CLIC Seville.
If you are staying for a short period, you do not need to buy your own shoes, as the dance studio can lend you a pair.
How many Flamenco classes are included each week?
Two 60-minute Flamenco dance classes are included each week. Each session is led by professional Flamenco dancers and takes place in a dedicated dance studio in the centre of Seville.
How many students are in each Flamenco class?
Flamenco classes usually have between 10 and 20 participants, creating a lively and motivating atmosphere while still allowing instructors to provide individual guidance when needed.
How many hours of class will I have per week?
Our programme includes 20 Spanish lessons per week, taught in small international groups from Monday to Friday. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes, giving you plenty of time to improve your Spanish while still enjoying Seville and your Flamenco classes.
How big will my language class be?
Your Spanish class will have an average of 8 students and the maximum number allowed in a class is 10. We don’t allow classes to be any bigger than that so the teacher can really cater for your needs.
When do classes take place?
All our classes take place in the morning. As your course is 20 hours, you will be in class from 9:15-13:00 or 11.20 to 15.10, which gives you plenty of time to get out and about, practice surf and take advantage of our fantastic cultural programme in the afternoons.
Is this course accredited?
Yes. International House schools offer the option of validating and transferring credits to European and North American universities for the Language component of this course.
What if I don’t know my Spanish level?
Before you start your classes, we need to make sure you’re at the right level. You’ll be sent a link to an online Spanish test before your course starts. Then, you will book an appointment with the director of studies to do an oral test through Google Meet, Whatsapp or telephone to assess not only your Spanish level but also your goals for studying with us. This will allow us to place you in a class that will challenge you but not overwhelm you.
