Spanish Courses for Seniors in Seville
Seville is a beautiful and authentic Spanish city – safe, full of history, and packed with fantastic bars and restaurants where you can enjoy meeting others and practising your language skills. Our Spanish Courses for Seniors in Seville combine classes and cultural activities to ensure that you learn, share experiences and enjoy making new friends here in our romantic city.
We designed this course to meet your needs. Our Spanish courses for seniors in Seville are for those over 50 who share similar goals, tastes, and expectations. Our wonderful native teachers adjust the rhythm and teaching methods of their classes to allow you to explore the Spanish language and culture at a comfortable but exciting pace.
Our award-winning cultural programme will also play an integral part of your experience with us. Alongside the orientation walk, welcome drinks, and a meal with a teacher, the price includes entry to one flamenco show and various museums, among other things. You’ll also be able to make the most of a wide range of seasonal activities – from wine tasting to flamenco, Semana Santa to Feria, we even organise excursions to cities such as Granada and Cordoba – everything hand-picked to show you the best of Seville and give you the confidence you need to be bold, get out there, and really use your Spanish!
Beautiful and vibrant, Seville offers you a fabulous, safe, and historic city with a well-preserved centre full of charming cobbled streets, things to see, places to eat and a traditional shopping area to grab a coffee and watch the world go by.
The captivating architecture shows the cultural legacy of the Phoenician, Tartessian, Roman, Arab and Christian Empires. Seville is not only home to three world heritage sites: The Alcazar Palace, the Cathedral, and the Archivos de Indias, but has also provided the backdrop for popular films and series such as Star Wars, Knight and Day, Lawrence of Arabia, and more recently Game of Thrones.
You won’t need to be in the capital of Andalusia long to realise why this bright and elegant city has inspired no fewer than 100 operas and why it’s said that ‘quien no ha visto Sevilla, no ha visto maravilla’ (anyone who hasn’t seen Seville, hasn’t seen wonder). Perfect for an unforgettable language learning experience!
How many hours will I be in class?
You will receive 20 lessons per week and each class will be 50 mins long.
How big will my classes be?
Each class has between 6 and 8 students. This is in order to ensure that your teacher is able to give each student plenty of attention. These smaller groups also help you to get to know your classmates better and make the most out of the experience.
When do classes take place?
All our classes take place in the morning from 9:15 to 13:00. We schedule all our classes early in the day so you have plenty of time in the afternoons and evenings to take part in the activities organised by our Cultural Program. The perfect combination!

Conversation and Grammar
A great complimentary course for anyone who needs that little extra push with their Spanish speaking and grammar.
There’s no course more customisable than this. Completely tailor-made private classes for one or two students.
An essential course for those working in the medical field who need to learn how to carry out patient interviews in Spanish.
Learn Spanish by contextualising it with a fun activity. Choose from photography, theatre, cooking, or Latin dance.
How will you determine my Spanish level?
Before you start your classes, we need to make sure you’re at the right level. You’ll be sent a link to an online Spanish test before your course starts. Then, on your first day here at CLIC Seville, you’ll have a friendly interview with one of our Spanish teachers to assess not only your Spanish level but also your goals for studying with us. This will allow us to get to know you, evaluate your fluency, and tailor your course to help you meet your goals.

What our students say
“The best language school to learn Spanish at. The friendly staff and excellent teachers will make your stay enjoyable and there are all different types of accommodation to meet your needs. The cultural programme has a wide variety of activities to keep you busy and entertained all the time. It’s my third year and I’m already planning for the next one. To sum it up, an ideal place to learn, meet people and have fun!”
Theo de Jongste
“If it’s International House, it’s good, and if that is in Seville, twice as good! Why? Because the quality of its teachers and methodology. The proposed cultural activities that contribute to the knowledge of cultural aspects complement and complete the purely linguistic learning. The location contributes a lot, because there are many things to do in and near the city. It’s my fifth year coming and I hope there will be many more to come. Thanks CLIC, I miss you already.”
