Choose between 20 and 25 lessons per week, depending on what suits your needs, and take advantage of the excellent cultural programme which is integrated into the course too. At the same time as you’re studying, you’ll be learning about how we live – from excursions, to shows, to sporting events – there is plenty to discover here in Cadiz.

About the Spanish Course
Cadiz is definitely the place to be! As well as being the oldest European city with heaps of history (more than 3 thousand years old), it is located on the beautiful Atlantic coastline and boasts beautiful beaches, fabulous culture, amazing food and breathtaking architecture.
Depending on your mood, you can explore the city and its fabulous history, relax or do watersports by the sea, or just try some of the fantastic food. Whatever you are looking for, Cadiz will not disappoint!
Yes, all our Spanish Intensive Courses start every Monday throughout the year and are available for Spanish levels A2 up to advanced. If you are an absolute beginner, we offer start dates every two weeks, but please check with our staff for specific dates.
That is really your choice. Usually, students who stay with us for a longer period opt for the 20 lessons per week, while those who stay for a shorter time tend to choose 25 lessons per week. It depends on your objectives and your needs!
Our classes tend to be between 6 and 10 students. Enough to have fun but not too many for each student to have plenty of attention from their teacher.
The maximum number of students in the Intensive 20 course is 10 people.
The maximum number of students in the 5 or 10 extra classes is 6 participants.
All our classes start at 9:15 or 11:20 in the morning and finish at different times, depending on the option you choose. If your choice is 20 lessons per week, you’ll finish at 13:00, if it is 25 lessons per week you may finish at 14:20 or 15:10. Lessons at CLIC start early so that students have enough free time for leisure activities and can enjoy the afternoon activities offered by our Cultural Programme, such as guided tours, workshops and much more.
Yes! We offer a great weekly activity programme that changes every week. Some activities are free, such as the orientation walk every Monday for new students, pronunciation classes, and workshops on culture or literature. You can check our weekly activity programme here.
At the end of your course, you will receive a CLIC certificate stating your attendance and successful completion of a Spanish course at the level you enrolled in. You can also request a report detailing your different language competencies. If you would like an official certificate, you can add the SIELE exam at the end of your course. This exam certifies your level of Spanish in speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills, and is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.
You don’t only have the two options of 20 or 25 lessons per week, but you can also choose to add extra afternoon courses to your study plan. We offer different optional classes for different demands. You get to choose between the courses below:
Private Lessons
This is the most customisable course of them all. You will have a Spanish teacher just for you and the lessons will be totally adapted to your specific needs. A second student can join the class if requested.
Surf Lessons
What better way to learn Spanish while having fun? This is the best option to practice sports and learn language at the same time, as you will have a Spanish surf instructor teaching you the basics of surfing and assisting you throughout the lesson.
Before you arrive, you’ll need to take a level test. To do this, you’ll be sent a link to an online Spanish test. After that, you will also receive an email with a link to make an appointment for an oral interview with one of the Directors of Studies or teachers. This will allow us to place you in the perfect class to achieve your objectives.
We use materials from Editorial Difusión, and the main textbooks are Aula Plus 1-6. In addition, we have a rich bank of supplementary learning materials.
