The city of Cadiz, with more than 3,000 years of history, is the ideal destination for a school trip. It is medium sized, very safe and enjoys sunny weather from January to December. It also boasts some of the best beaches in the whole country, which is why water sports are the most popular activity in our weekly cultural programme. Not to mention the bustling city centre with shops, restaurants, museums, galleries and a beautiful cathedral.
Cadiz is the ideal base to study, enjoy the sun and sea, explore the whole region and really work on your Spanish.
Firstly, there is the school. Our facilities are brand new, bright and cheerful and perfectly prepared to help maximise the potential of our students using the latest technologies. Our teachers are enthusiastic native speakers who know how to make graded classes that combine learning and fun to keep students motivated and engaged. Perfect for tailor made Spanish group programmes!
Then, there are the ‘Gaditanos’ – the locals. People from Cadiz are famous for their openness and sense of humour and when carnival comes around, the streets come to life and this becomes clear to anyone who gets the chance to experience one of the country’s most famous events. In short, it is a happy, buzzing city where students can practice their Spanish with the locals and enjoy being out in the street exploring and making friends.
Finally, there are the beaches! Cadiz has the most romantic seafront in Andalusia and the most extensive urban beaches. Therefore, if you’re a fan of water sports, this is definitely the place to be. In fact, the only risk you face if you choose to study in Cadiz is that you may not want to leave!

What the group leaders say
I can’t tell you much about preparing the trip because before our arrival, CLIC had organized everything. The trip was a real success and Jesus was excellent. The kids seemed to really enjoy the classes and the teachers were great. They also learnt lots of Spanish. Regarding the cultural program, in 2 weeks we got to know the city and the people inside out. The families that hosted our students helped them greatly by teaching them about the history and culture. The kids were really happy with their host families. I stayed with Angela and Pepe. They made me feel right at home and the food was great. We loved coming to CLIC.Creighton University
Travelling abroad with a group of students isn’t easy especially when they are young. CLIC’s 30 years of experience show. Everything was really well organized. There was even a 24-hour emergency service available. There wasn’t a moment when I felt alone as a monitor.American School of Milan
