How is the course organized?
This training program is organized as follows:
Participation in 20 weekly classes of Spanish course (40 classes in total)
5 private weekly feedback sessions with the tutor (10 sessions in total)
The courses take place from Monday to Friday. The first day you will meet your group and tutor, who will inform you about the tasks to be carried out during the work placement. In these two weeks you will be able to observe classes taught by an expert teacher and periods of planning and teaching of classes under the supervision of your tutor.
During the observation, the tutor will give you specific objectives on which you should focus your attention every day. The pedagogical steps are gradual, you will plan your interventions in the classroom under the tutor’s supervision.
On the last day you will give a session of at least two hours that you will have previously planned with the tutor’s advice. This session may be videotaped for training purposes with the prior consent of the group.
Each day you will have tutorial periods in which the tutor will monitor and review the following pedagogical areas. The feedback and counseling sessions are essential for the planning of the work placement. On the one hand, it ensures that the classes reach the quality that we want to offer to the students and, on the other, the teachers in training receive an analysis focused on performance.
In the evaluation of your time with us, the following will be taken into account:

Your ability to plan and manage the class, adapting to the characteristics of the group and showing sufficient autonomy.
